During residency at Mount Stuart (2023/24), I hosted casting and sensory-focused workshops with other autistic and disabled people. Informed by suggestions from local islanders, Without Words is a permanent collection of 20 cast textures from across Bute — an alternative form of communication and engagement for those who may not use text, speech, or written language.
